Base Salary: $85,000 - $120,000 USD

What you will do

• Support financial planning, reporting, and budget tracking for the Engineering function.
• Meet regularly with engineers to gather data, understand resourcing needs, and act as a collaborative partner.
• Analyze financial data, track variances, and provide visibility to team leads on department spend.
• Facilitate communication between Finance and Engineering for intuitive, non-disruptive processes.
• Embrace learning on the job, handling new challenges, systems, and ad-hoc requests.
• Assist Finance and Accounting during monthly and quarterly close processes.

Requirements

• Up to 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related analytical role (recent graduates with strong internships encouraged)
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Experience partnering with engineering teams on budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Exceptional work ethic, humility, proactive attitude, and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in a startup or high-growth company.
• Engineering experience, background, or interest in hardtech/hardware.
• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
