Senior Software Engineer (Cloud Services)

Salary: $124,900—$228,900 USD

What you will do

• Build and maintain scalable service-oriented infrastructure for a system handling 15M+ requests per second.
• Develop automation tools and processes to enable product teams to ship more efficiently and safely.
• Innovate and implement self-service tooling to improve infrastructure supportability.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and postmortems to drive long-term operational health improvements.
• Analyze process gaps and implement solutions to eliminate manual toil.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable code in TypeScript, Go, or C#.
• Experience designing, developing, and deploying service-oriented applications.
• Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, ArgoCD, or Backstage.
• Strong knowledge of Kafka, Service Discovery (Consul), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Alibaba Cloud).
• Deep understanding of Linux internals, networking stacks, and GitOps tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Location: Must be based in Bellevue or San Francisco
