Senior Identity Specialist (Field CTO) (CIAM): Deliver sales presentations, interactive demos, and POCs for Okta's customer identity platform with an accent on strategic customer engagement and technical leadership. Focus on whiteboarding solution architectures, leading deep technical Q&A, and providing field insights to influence product strategy.

Must be in the USA. Remote position with up to 40% travel for customer meetings, events, and in-person onboarding. Offices in Bellevue WA, Chicago IL, Colorado, New York NY, San Francisco CA, Texas, Washington DC.

What you will do

• Support strategic conversations with technical leaders, deliver presentations on trends and best practices.
• Lead technical Q&A, whiteboard architectures, and build outcome-focused POCs.
• Provide guidance to solutions engineering teams and collaborate with Field CTO office.
• Deliver keynotes, webinars, and contribute to enablement frameworks and tools.
• Represent Okta as thought leader and advocate for customer-driven innovation.

Requirements

• 8+ years in presales/customer-facing roles, including 3+ years with CIAM projects
• 8+ years development experience in application integration with identity services
• 8+ years with REST APIs and SDKs; experience with Okta/Auth0, OAuth/OIDC/SAML
• Strong communication, whiteboarding, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate in matrixed organization; travel up to 40%.

• Full-stack web or mobile (iOS/Android) development.
• Architecting scalable CIAM solutions across web, mobile, cloud.
