What you will do

• Own the technical sales cycle for enterprise opportunities in the Retail vertical, from initial platform deep-dives to final conviction.
• Design and deliver industry-tailored demonstrations and end-to-end proofs-of-concept (POCs) based on realistic scenarios and KPIs.
• Lead functional RFPs, RFIs, and IT integration discussions, specifically focusing on SAP and non-SAP system connectivity.
• Partner with Account Executives on deal strategy, stakeholder mapping, and technical value proposition coaching.
• Translate industry intelligence and competitive analysis into structured feedback for the Product team to sharpen the roadmap.
• Mentor junior Solution Engineers and develop enablement content and battle-cards to scale the SE function.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in solution engineering, presales, or tech consulting for B2B enterprise SaaS.
• Proven track record of managing complex enterprise deals with sizes exceeding €250K.
• Technical fluency in REST APIs, SAP, identity management (SSO), cloud architecture, and data modeling.
• Strong business acumen to map regulatory pain points to ROI and TCO for CFO-level sign-off.
• Outstanding communication proficiency in both German and English.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Munich or Mannheim, Germany.

• Recognized industry presence as a trade-event speaker or working-group contributor.
• Domain expertise in Carbon Accounting, Reporting, Traceability, and Product compliance.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, Coupa, or ServiceNow.
• Exposure to Agentic AI in enterprise SaaS environments.
• Proficiency in Italian, Spanish, or French.
