What you will do

• Lead the installation, maintenance, and repair of electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose computer-driven systems including PLCs, HMI, and PID controllers.
• Execute and plan preventative maintenance to ensure production efficiency and timely execution.
• Collaborate with engineering to keep maintenance plans accurate and aligned with manufacturing needs.
• Document all planned and performed work in the computerized maintenance management system.
• Evaluate equipment operation, order replacement tools/fixtures, and revise technical procedures.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Wayne, NJ, US.
• 3-5 years of technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and plumbing diagrams for expert troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of 120, 208/230, and 480VAC electrical voltage.
• Experience with PLC/HMI and control systems.
• High school diploma required; Associate degree in Engineering or Science preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in medical device manufacturing or other FDA regulated industries.
• Proficiency in MS-DOS programming languages.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel.
