Field Engineer (Medical Imaging)

Field Engineer (Medical Imaging): Installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining X-ray and diagnostic imaging systems in hospitals and imaging centers with an accent on technical service delivery and customer relationship management. Location: New York City. Must reside in Brooklyn or Queens.

Compensation: $33.00 - $48.00 per hour plus bonus

What you will do

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain laser printers, networks, CR & DR X-ray imaging, and radio fluoroscopy equipment at customer sites.
• Build trust with customers through proactive visits and timely communication regarding equipment issues.
• Independently diagnose and resolve electronic, mechanical, and networking problems.
• Perform preventative maintenance (PM), Field Change Orders (FCO), and installations.
• Manage company assets and adhere to state and federal regulatory requirements.
• Provide remote technical support and diagnostics to healthcare customers and partners.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in electronics or equivalent (BSEE/BSME preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in diagnostic imaging or 4+ years in the electronics industry.
• Proficiency in computers, networking, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and site drawings.
• Valid driver's license and driving record compliant with Fleet Policy.
• Must live within the territory (NYC: Brooklyn or Queens).

Nice to have

• Experience with X-Ray and complex medical devices.
• Specific knowledge of Carestream equipment.
