What you will do

• Oversee site operations across production, maintenance, logistics, and administration to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards while promoting a strong safety culture.
• Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams to drive employee engagement and performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, monitor KPIs, and optimize operational costs using LEAN tools.
• Manage budgets, capital expenditures, and resource allocation to meet financial targets.
• Coordinate relationships with internal teams, external partners, and local authorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related technical discipline.
• Operations and manufacturing leadership experience, ideally within instruments production.
• Proven track record of successful implementation of LEAN/Six Sigma manufacturing tools and techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze technical data and proposals.
• Ability to work across all disciplines and levels of the organization in a persuasive manner.
• Must be able to work onsite in Cork, Ireland.

Nice to have

• Lean Practitioner or Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
