What you will do
- Promote health and safety compliance, intervening in unsafe practices and conducting regular safety audits and SPAs.
- Monitor day-to-day site activities of contractors to ensure adherence to safety, quality, schedule, and cost targets.
- Perform daily inspections and witness tests to ensure work meets approved standards and IFC documentation.
- Review contractors' method statements and permit applications to ensure all risks are assessed and controlled.
- Coordinate with commissioning and QA/QC teams for system walkdowns, punch-list management, and turnover.
- Manage red-line mark-ups and ensure construction documentation accurately reflects as-built progress.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in managing large-scale construction projects and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience in specialized industrial sectors such as Life Sciences, Food, or Data Centres.
- Proven track record of ensuring exemplary health and safety standards on large-scale sites.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be based in or able to work onsite in Athlone, Ireland.

- Additional professional qualifications in Engineering or Project Management.
- Experience in Digital Project Delivery.
