TL;DR

Head Of People (Entertainment): Leading HR operations across the studio and production company with an accent on the full employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition to total rewards and compliance. Focus on managing a complex workforce of staff and contingent talent, ensuring legal compliance, and overseeing facilities and IT infrastructure.

Location: Must be based in Los Angeles, CA

Salary: $175,000.00 - $200,000.00 USD

What you will do

  • Act as a People Partner to leadership on performance management, organizational design, and headcount planning.
  • Manage the contingent workforce and union relations, ensuring adherence to SAG-AFTRA, WGA, DGA, and IATSE agreements.
  • Own end-to-end recruiting for staff and executive roles and enhance the company's employer brand.
  • Oversee semi-monthly payroll, annual benefits strategy, and 401(k) plan administration.
  • Manage HRIS, people analytics, and compliance requirements including E-Verify and EEOC reporting.
  • Provide strategic oversight for facilities, office operations, and IT infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in the entertainment industry, including deep understanding of workflows and industry protocols.
  • Proven track record in project and business management, including analyzing deals and negotiating contracts.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for interacting with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects under tight timelines with high integrity.
  • Must be based in Los Angeles, CA to oversee facilities and office operations.
