What you will do
- Develop and execute government contracting and sales strategies for the Navy, defense primes, and government entities.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities in defense and commercial maritime sectors, focusing on autonomous and unmanned platforms.
- Engage senior stakeholders from the military, government entities, and defense primes.
- Lead and execute complex program capture strategies.
- Map powertrain and power distribution capabilities to relevant contract vehicles, including emerging vehicles like Golden Fleet.
- Guide business strategy using market reseh and competitive landscape analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in strategic roles within defense, maritime, aerospace, or robotics industries.
- Proven track record of closing deals and winning programs with public and private sector entities.
- Strong understanding of defense procurement pathways and the Defense Industrial Base.
- Eligible for security clearance.
- Ability to travel regularly (approximately 20–30%).
Nice to have
- Experience at an emerging technology defense contractor or in strategy consulting.
- Direct experience engaging with government program offices (e.g., PEO USC, PMS 406, NAVSEA).
- Familiarity with autonomy, robotics, and maritime systems.
- Enthusiasm for boating and clean energy.
