What you will do

• Develop and execute government contracting and sales strategies for the Navy, defense primes, and government entities.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities in defense and commercial maritime sectors, focusing on autonomous and unmanned platforms.
• Engage senior stakeholders from the military, government entities, and defense primes.
• Lead and execute complex program capture strategies.
• Map powertrain and power distribution capabilities to relevant contract vehicles, including emerging vehicles like Golden Fleet.
• Guide business strategy using market resehirify.globalh and competitive landscape analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in strategic roles within defense, maritime, aerospace, or robotics industries.
• Proven track record of closing deals and winning programs with public and private sector entities.
• Strong understanding of defense procurement pathways and the Defense Industrial Base.
• Eligible for security clearance.
• Ability to travel regularly (approximately 20–30%).

Nice to have

• Experience at an emerging technology defense contractor or in strategy consulting.
• Direct experience engaging with government program offices (e.g., PEO USC, PMS 406, NAVSEA).
• Familiarity with autonomy, robotics, and maritime systems.
• Enthusiasm for boating and clean energy.
