Installation Quality Manager (Wind Energy)

What you will do

• Lead the Site Quality team to ensure safe and high-quality wind turbine installation and commissioning across multiple North American projects.
• Oversee the management of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Layered Process Audits (LPAs), and special inspections.
• Coordinate with Global PM/EPC, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure alignment with global installation standards.
• Develop and monitor departmental KPIs to ensure performance meets strategic objectives.
• Manage risks and create contingency plans for component deliveries and installation processes.
• Mentor and coach Site Quality personnel to strengthen technical competency and accountability.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of quality management and employee supervision experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
• Extensive background in Wind Turbine Assembly and installation.
• Ability to climb towers up to 400 feet and work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to meet OSHA and ANSI weight limits (250 to 300 lbs max) for on-site activities.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport for overseas travel.

Nice to have

• Fluency in Spanish, French, or German.
• Advanced degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Specific Wind Farm mechanical construction experience.
