What you will do

• Develop mechanical engineering designs, equipment lists, general arrangements, and process flow diagrams (PFDs).
• Prepare technical specifications and sizing calculations for major equipment, including power generation and gas conditioning.
• Perform intermediate complexity engineering designs, including analysis, research, and equipment selection.
• Provide field installation, pre-commissioning, and start-up support for construction personnel.
• Conduct thorough reviews of mechanical designs to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
• Coordinate mechanical engineering activities with 3rd party OEM packagers and general contractors.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Experience in industries such as Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Gas Processing, or Mobile Equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations applicable to mechanical design.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) model creation and analysis.
• Experience with pipe stress analysis.
• Experience with heat recovery systems and absorption chilled water systems.
