TL;DR

HR Business Partner (Construction): Developing and executing HR strategies to support leadership in achieving business objectives with an accent on executive-level consultation and employee relations. Focus on driving strategic programs, workforce planning, and performance management within the construction organization.

Location: Hybrid in Overland Park, KS, US. Relocation eligible.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute HR strategies to align with business objectives and provide executive-level consultation.
  • Drive solutions for business needs and work collaboratively across executive leadership and Centers of Excellence.
  • Provide employee relations support and coaching for the Construction organization.
  • Implement strategic programs for training, development, and skill enhancement.
  • Manage performance and conduct culture assessments to drive organizational growth.
  • Act as a liaison between the division and HR functional areas.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive HR and/or staffing experience.
  • Experience in workforce planning is required.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Must be able to complete pre-employment background checks, drug screens, and motor vehicle record searches.
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or Human Resources preferred.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree.
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems).
  • Proven experience supporting and coaching executive-level leadership.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand business metrics and financials.
