TL;DR

People Business Partner (SaaS): Supporting and advising managers and employees across business units with an accent on employee relations, performance management, and strategic HR partnership. Focus on establishing the HR presence in Atlanta, coaching leadership, and ensuring compliance with US and Canadian employment laws.

Location: Hybrid (Atlanta, GA). Must be based in the Atlanta area to work from the office one day a week.

What you will do

  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact and trusted advisor for assigned client groups, aligning HR strategy with business goals.
  • Lead performance management cycles, advising managers on feedback, development planning, and accountability.
  • Independently resolve complex employee relations matters and conduct workplace investigations across the US and Canada.
  • Manage end-to-end leave of absence processes ensuring compliance with North American legislation.
  • Execute and improve HR programs, including engagement surveys, L&D initiatives, and career pathing frameworks.
  • Partner with business leaders on change management during organizational transitions and restructures.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an HRBP capacity.
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Deep expertise in US and Canadian employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Proven track record of managing complex employee relations, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to coach and influence mid-level and senior leadership.
  • Must be located in the Atlanta, GA metropolitan area for hybrid office requirements.

Nice to have

  • HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or CHRL.
  • Experience supporting professional services or client-facing teams within a SaaS environment.
  • Exposure to organizational design or change management projects.
