What you will do

• Lead design and execution of global trade compliance programs like trade agreements, customs valuation, duty mitigation, and ADD/CVD obligations.
• Design and evolve compliance policies, procedures, and work instructions aligned with regulatory changes.
• Build and deploy enterprise-wide training programs on trade compliance.
• Drive cross-functional programs with Legal, Supply Chain, Finance, and others to advance global trade strategy.
• Manage projects for consistency, scalability, and governance in compliance processes.
• Partner with IT to enhance data flows, automation, and trade compliance systems.
• Drive improvements via KPIs, risk assessments, and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in international trade, supply chain, business, law, or related field.
• 10+ years managing global/multi-regional trade compliance programs with import/export responsibility.
• Knowledge of global trade regulations: HTS/ECCN classification, customs valuation, origin determination, trade agreements, EAR, sanctions.
• Proven delivery of complex cross-functional projects integrating regulatory requirements.
• Experience with project management methodologies for global compliance initiatives.
• Experience with trade compliance platforms like Oracle GTM, SAP GTS.

Nice to have

• Licensed Customs Broker, Certified Export Specialist, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with C-TPAT, AEO, trade cost optimization, duty mitigation.
• Analytical skills for risk assessments, KPIs, process improvements.
• Leading responses to customs audits/investigations.
• Telecommunications or high-tech industry background.
