What you will do

• Conduct fieldwork, environmental sampling, and site assessments at various project locations.
• Collect and manage data on water quality, benthic invertebrates, fish, sediment, and periphyton.
• Prepare technical summary reports for internal use and regulatory applications.
• Maintain monitoring instrumentation and ensure the proper custody of environmental samples.
• Prepare and manage shipments of samples to laboratories.
• Provide technical input to projects based on fisheries and aquatics expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, Technical Diploma, or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of previous experience in fisheries or aquatics field work.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 15 pounds.
• Site travel is required, including some weekend work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
