What you will do

• Design, optimize, and execute in vitro and ex vivo cellular assays for preclinical research
• Perform cell culture techniques with primary cells, immortalized lines, and co-cultures
• Handle, process, and analyze human clinical samples in BSL-2 compliance
• Develop and run mechanistic assays for cellular responses (inflammation, barrier function, immune signaling)
• Collaborate with Data Science, Regulatory Affairs, and Biotechnology teams
• Apply flow cytometry, imaging assays, ELISA, qPCR, Western blotting

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Immunology, Biomedical Sciences, or related field (Master’s with experience considered)
• Strong expertise in cell culture and cellular assay development for preclinical research
• Demonstrated BSL-2 lab experience, including human-derived clinical samples
• Ability to design experiments, troubleshoot assays, and produce reproducible data
• Understanding of experimental controls, study rigor, and data interpretation
• Location: Lexington, MA, US
