SFTP Analyst (MFT): Supporting and maintaining enterprise Managed File Transfer environments across on-premise and cloud infrastructure with an accent on production support, secure data transfers, and infrastructure automation. Location: Primarily on-site in New York City (Monday-Thursday), remote on Fridays. Open to exceptional remote candidates.

Salary: $145,000 - $155,000

What you will do

• Administer and maintain enterprise SFTP/MFT platforms across cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues involving SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, networking, and authentication.
• Support and manage Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
• Implement encryption standards, security controls, and key management processes.
• Automate monitoring and administrative tasks using PowerShell, Python, SQL, and REST APIs.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to handle critical incidents and ensure SLA compliance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise SFTP or MFT environments.
• Proficiency with Windows Server, RHEL, and Active Directory/Azure Entra ID.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancers, and DMZ environments.
• Experience with automation scripting (PowerShell, Python) and SQL/REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in NYC (Mon-Thu) unless qualifying as an exceptional remote candidate.

Nice to have

• Experience with Globalscape/Fortra MFT platforms.
• Background in healthcare, HITRUST, or HIPAA-regulated environments.
• Experience supporting highly available or failover clustered environments.
• Relevant technical certifications.
