What you will do
- Engineer, build, and operate network solutions for global data centers and FedRAMP-authorized environments.
- Optimize routing for a global IP backbone using BGP and OSPF, including traffic-engineering strategies.
- Implement hybrid and cloud-native routing across AWS, Azure, and GCP while ensuring alignment with security control requirements.
- Develop automated provisioning and compliance pipelines using Python, Ansible, and Git-driven CI/CD workflows.
- Manage network operations, continuous monitoring, and incident response for regulated environments.
- Create high-quality architectural diagrams, runbooks, and documentation for FedRAMP audits.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in network engineering within large-scale, multi-region global routing environments.
- Experience engineering, operating, or supporting FedRAMP Moderate and/or High environments.
- Deep hands-on expertise with BGP and OSPF and strong experience with JunOS (MX, QFX, SRX).
- Proficiency in hybrid cloud networking across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
- Automation skills using Python, Ansible/AWX, and Git workflows.
- Strong understanding of NIST 800-53-based security frameworks and network segmentation.
Nice to have
- Masterβs degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Experience with other network OS platforms such as EOS, NX-OS, or IOS-XE.
