Senior Analyst, Investment Operations (Investment Management)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid work with on-site attendance in the Boston office 3 days per week

Salary: $75,000–$90,000 per year, plus potential discretionary incentive compensation

What you will do

• Support the end-to-end trade lifecycle for futures, swaps, and credit securities, including confirmation, reconciliation, settlement oversight, lifecycle events, and exception resolution.
• Manage relationships with middle-office providers, global custodians, fund administrators, and outsource providers.
• Respond to trade, settlement, compliance, and operational inquiries from Trading, Compliance, Portfolio Management, and Global Client Group teams.
• Support the Trading Desk through custody position verification, spendable cash validation, and settlement monitoring.
• Maintain and enhance Charles River trading workflows, including trade capture, order management, allocations, amendments, cancellations, and broker or custodian transmission.
• Identify automation opportunities, improve operational controls, and escalate breaks, exceptions, and operational risks.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of operations-related experience, preferably in investment management.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, or another finance-related discipline preferred.
• Experience working with or overseeing fund administrators, custodian banks, and outsource providers.
• Working knowledge of Charles River, DTCC CTM, GTSS, and other post-trade platforms.
• Understanding of equities, fixed income, futures, swaps, foreign exchange, and credit securities, including trade lifecycle and settlement requirements.
• Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
