What you will do

• Lead reserve adequacy studies for hirify.global Reinsurance Company (Ireland) Dac.
• Manage quarterly closing tasks, including validation of plan ELR amounts and roll forward analysis.
• Calculate Solvency II technical provisions on a quarterly basis and support reporting requirements.
• Explore and develop new reserving approaches and methodologies.
• Provide support for reserving tasks within other international regions such as London or Singapore.
• Collaborate with Pricing Actuarial, Underwriting, Claims, and Financial Services to ensure consistency.

Requirements

• Nearly or newly qualified Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (FIA) or similar.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Maths, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or Business.
• Minimum of five years P&C actuarial experience.
• Knowledge and experience of GI reserving and ideally reinsurance.
• Strong Excel skills are mandatory.
• Must be based in Dublin, Ireland.

Nice to have

• Experience in Solvency II reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel VBA, SQL, and Python.
• Familiarity with ResQ.
