Internal Auditor (Finance)

Salary: €50,000 – €60,000 per annum

A large, diversified Irish group operating across various sectors, including consumer goods and AgriBusiness.

What you will do

• Plan and execute audit assignments to assess compliance with internal policies and procedures.
• Develop and present the Annual Internal Audit Plan to the Audit Committee based on risk assessments.
• Conduct internal audits and ad hoc reviews of financial, operational, and IT controls.
• Prepare concise reports for senior management with practical recommendations for improvement.
• Lead the annual risk assessment process across the group.
• Support company secretarial and compliance-related matters.

Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• Experience within a Big 4 / Top 10 audit firm or a large organisation's internal audit function.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, risk frameworks, and governance structures.
• Full driving licence and access to own transport required.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to challenge existing processes.

Nice to have

• Audit experience in consumer goods or AgriBusiness.
