What you will do
- Execute and monitor financial control activities, ensuring timely escalation of exceptions and consistency across assigned areas.
- Support GRC framework operations, compliance reviews, audit readiness, and stakeholder guidance on controls.
- Identify risks, assess root causes, coordinate remediation plans, and escalate issues per governance requirements.
- Produce reports, analyse trends and exceptions, translating data into actionable insights for management.
- Contribute to control framework development, policy updates, and alignment with regulatory best practices.
- Support audits, manage evidence, track remediation, and coordinate with Finance, Audit, Compliance, and Legal teams.
- Drive process improvements, automation, and optimisation in financial controls and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years in Finance, ideally in governance, risk, and compliance; experience with financial controls, audit, or risk management.
- Part qualified or pursuing ACCA, CIMA, or CPA; familiarity with COSO and financial compliance.
- Knowledge of risk standards like ISO 31000 advantageous; ongoing professional development expected.
