Financial Controller (SaaS)

What you will do

• Strengthen and improve internal controls to ensure accurate and auditable financial data.
• Support tax compliance (VAT, ICP, CIT) and manage statutory filings with advisors.
• Own AR and revenue control, including reconciliations, revenue recognition, and billing accuracy.
• Optimize key reconciliations (AR, intercompany, bank) and balance sheet substantiation.
• Contribute to monthly close and year-end audits, managing journal entries and PBC schedules.
• Identify gaps and drive automation across NetSuite, Salesforce, and Stripe systems.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in financial control, accounting, or audit (Big 4 or industry).
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (Dutch GAAP and/or IFRS).
• Hands-on experience with tax (VAT/ICP, CIT) and revenue/AR processes.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems, specifically NetSuite, Salesforce, or Stripe.
