Manager, Site Quality Assurance (Hydropower)

Location: Pointe-Claire, Quebec, Canada; hybrid work mode with short-period travel to project sites. Legal status to work in Canada is required.

What you will do

• Manage the Site Quality Assurance team, including recruitment, assignments, training, evaluations, and personnel management.
• Implement and maintain the hirify.global Quality Assurance System across Canadian project sites.
• Update site quality processes and contribute to Project Quality Plans, installation kick-off meetings, design reviews, and installation manual reviews.
• Serve as the point of contact for customer quality meetings and manage site quality documentation and lessons learned.
• Manage the welding procedures bank, production of new procedures, welding supervisor delegation, and CWB-related audits.
• Audit welding processes on site and provide technical welding support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience.
• At least 10 years of experience, including a minimum of 3 years managing a team.
• Experience working on construction sites and willingness to travel to sites for short periods.
• Knowledge of mechanical measurement devices, mechanical and electrical drawings, Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD.
• Effective oral and written communication skills in both French and English.
• Legal status to work in Canada. On-site safety training is required.
