Advanced Sustaining Engineer

Location: Mississauga, Canada; onsite presence required with a minimum of 3 days in the office per week

Salary: $101,040–$151,040 annual, plus a target performance-based annual cash incentive equal to 12% of base pay

What you will do

• Manage technical programs for active product lines, including engineering change orders and end-of-life component resolutions.
• Develop test plans, verification protocols, and validation testing for engineering changes.
• Coordinate software and firmware updates, approvals, documentation, and rollout into production.
• Lead alternative component qualification, strategic inventory planning, and manufacturing support activities.
• Analyze field-use data and customer complaints to identify failure trends, safety hazards, and corrective actions.
• Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions for complex in-service failures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of professional experience.
• Experience in engineering or technical program management in fast-paced environments.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating technical projects.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, communication, collaboration, and risk-management skills.
• Ability to solve technical, quality, cost, and schedule challenges independently and collaboratively.
