Operator – Hydro

What you will do

• Operate the hydroelectric power plant and perform routine monitoring and maintenance.
• Optimize plant efficiency and output, including trash rack operations and related activities.
• Perform daily maintenance and repairs on plant equipment, buildings, and grounds.
• Investigate and resolve plant alarm triggers to minimize downtime, with 24-hour availability while in service.
• Operate heavy equipment and support safe, reliable plant operations.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience as an electromechanical technician or in electrical work, automation, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
• Training as an electromechanical technician or equivalent training.
• Good physical condition and willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office; SCADA knowledge is an asset.
• French and English bilingualism, both spoken and written, is required.
