What you will do

• Evaluate and optimize combustion systems to meet customer and emissions requirements.
• Generate quality boundary conditions for downstream Head & Block FEA and Piston simulations.
• Troubleshoot engine system issues using advanced combusting CFD simulation.
• Lead iModel projects to improve simulation accuracy and reduce throughput time.
• Collaborate with design, simulation, test, and platform teams to optimize combustion.
• Provide mentoring and indirect leadership to internal and external team members.

Requirements

• Masters in engineering with 5+ years of industrial combusting CFD analysis experience, or PhD with 2+ years.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to Mossville, Illinois, USA.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• High precision in processing detailed technical information.
• Strong analytical thinking and root-cause analysis capabilities.
• Effective technical communication and report writing skills.
