What you will do

• Troubleshoot and resolve daily production issues with pumps, blowers, furnaces, and material handling equipment.
• Create and revise CAD models, fabrication drawings, and mechanical fixture designs for operational needs.
• Collaborate with maintenance team on health checks, procedures, and lubrication plans.
• Review mechanical design documents for compliance with codes and standards.
• Interface with vendors for fabrication and repairs.
• Implement condition-based monitoring using operational data to prevent downtime.
• Contribute to feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for equipment upgrades.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in chemical process or manufacturing.
• Experience with industrial equipment like pumps, motors, blowers, valves; high-temperature environments a plus.
• Proficiency in CAD software for design and drawing review.
• Knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations for industrial mechanical equipment.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Mechanical Integrity in Process Safety Management (PSM) facilities.
