What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain capabilities for the modeling, simulation, design, and rating of chemicals and refining processes.
• Implement and evaluate new technologies from industry and academia to enhance product functionality.
• Provide high-level technical support to product management, marketing, and business support teams.
• Analyze customer engineering work processes to define and refine workflow requirements.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to create detailed specifications for innovative simulation products.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Chemical Engineering or related fields (PhD preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in software development for the simulation and design of chemicals and refining processes.
• Strong expertise in thermodynamic modeling and numerical methods.
• Proficiency in software development using C++, C, and/or C#.
• Experience with process simulation, design, and rating software (hirify.global products experience is a plus).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying complex technical information.
