Distribution Strategy Manager

Distribution Strategy Manager (Asset Management): Own and lead end-to-end strategic projects from framing commercial opportunities through market analysis, business case development, and execution planning with an accent on EMEA distribution priorities and sub-regional growth plans. Focus on providing data-driven recommendations to senior leadership, leading multidisciplinary teams, and overseeing market dynamics analysis for product positioning and investment decisions.

Location: Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire (hybrid: at least four full days each week in an hirify.global office)

What you will do

• Own and lead end-to-end strategic projects, including market analysis, business case development, and execution planning.
• Provide data-driven strategic recommendations to Head of Distribution Strategy & Execution and EMEA team.
• Drive development of EMEA distribution strategic priorities, annual plans, and sub-regional growth initiatives.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams, facilitate workshops, and act as connector across Distribution, Product, Investments, Finance, Marketing, and Operations.
• Oversee analysis of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and client trends to inform strategy and market entry.
• Develop business cases, scenario analyses, forecasting models, and executive presentations; mentor juniors and drive continuous improvements.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience leading cross-functional strategic projects with senior-level exposure (required)
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills; familiarity with project management methodologies or tools (required)
• Strategic thinker able to simplify complexity, craft narratives, and manage stakeholders effectively
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, autonomous, with strong communication for executive audiences
• Degree or equivalent preferred; experience in asset management or distribution strategy beneficial

Nice to have

• Experience supporting or leading M&A activity (due diligence, execution, integration)
• Proven experience in asset management strategy, distribution, or business management in global/EMEA context
• Strong understanding of EMEA asset management distribution landscape and client trends
• European language skills (Italian, Spanish, or German)
