What you will do

• Define product architecture for innovative personal care devices in a fast-paced environment.
• Create designs optimized for injection molding, sheet metal forming, extrusion, and machining.
• Collaborate across disciplines to take products from initial conception through to mass production.
• Integrate electrical systems into mechanical designs and evaluate technical trade-offs.
• Design and build physical prototypes for consumer validation and internal testing.
• Source and validate critical components from global vendors and business partners.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in product design and development.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and/or CREO (CREO preferred).
• Expertise in GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, and design for manufacture.
• Strong fundamental knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid flow.
• Must be based in the United States

Nice to have

• Experience in the personal care or home appliances industry.
• Familiarity with motors, fans, airflow paths, and thermal control systems.
• Knowledge of analog/digital electronics and test equipment.
• Hands-on experience with machine shop equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to travel globally, including to China and the UK.
