What you will do

• Define and govern SRE standards across all participant- and advisor-facing services, including SLOs/SLIs and error budgets.
• Own incident management, response standards, and the observability strategy (logging, tracing, metrics) for the entire portfolio.
• Enforce a comprehensive end-to-end testing strategy, including performance, accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA), and security testing.
• Lead the AI tooling roadmap for SRE and quality engineering to improve reliability and quality through AI-augmented workflows.
• Establish production readiness standards and govern change risk assessments, feature flagging, and progressive rollouts.
• Lead, hire, and develop a high-caliber team of senior SRE and Quality Engineering leaders.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive engineering experience.
• 4+ years of experience leading SRE, quality engineering, or platform reliability functions at a Director level.
• Experience in financial services, fintech, or other highly regulated, customer-facing environments.
• Deep expertise in SRE practices (SLOs, chaos engineering) and Quality Engineering (contract, performance testing).
• Proficiency in TypeScript and working knowledge of Rust.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• SRE or DevOps certifications from Google, AWS, or equivalent.
• Experience building or extending AI-powered observability or testing tooling.
• Open-source contributions or presentations at conferences like SREcon, KubeCon, or re:Invent.
• Experience with model risk management frameworks and AI governance in regulated environments.
