What you will do

  • Lead a team of engineers developing advisor-facing digital experiences, including advisor profiles and matching systems.
  • Review technical solution designs and architectures to ensure high quality and scalability.
  • Establish team-level practices, operating norms, and agile workflows to drive delivery.
  • Partner with product and design stakeholders to lead discovery and prioritization of features.
  • Coach and mentor engineers through career planning and consistent performance feedback.
  • Manage technology vendors and drive build vs buy decision-making processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in CRM or portfolio strategy and roadmap development.
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role within an IT functional area.
  • Proven track record of managing multidisciplinary, high-performance work teams.
  • Strong competency in project management and execution of large-scale technical projects.
  • Must be based in the USA (indicated by 401k, HSA, and EEO compliance).

Nice to have

  • Financial Services industry experience.
  • Experience in marketing and customer acquisition products.
  • Background in front-end technical development.
  • Experience using experimentation and iterative feedback to deliver user-centric products.
  • Experience working within a matrix management organization.
