What you will do

• Manage and develop a hybrid team of engineers and analysts, incorporating AI-driven efficiencies into workflows.
• Lead the roadmap for internal systems supporting cloud visibility and chargeback.
• Modernize fragile processes into durable platforms using LLMs and natural language interfaces for non-technical stakeholders.
• Implement predictive forecasting models using AI/ML to enhance monthly and annual financial planning cycles.
• Partner with Finance/FP&A and senior leadership to translate technical cloud usage into business-relevant cost insights.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in engineering, cloud platforms, data systems, or internal platform domains.
• 3+ years of people management experience leading hybrid technical and analytical teams.
• Deep expertise in AWS and GCP billing data, cloud cost structures, and cost allocation.
• Experience with AI-assisted design or coding tools to accelerate delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or equivalent work experience.
• Must be based in the United States (indicated by US-specific benefits and hybrid requirements).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with prompt engineering and structured interaction with LLMs for data analysis.
• Experience with Cloudability, BigQuery, Looker, or AWS Cost Explorer.
• Experience within a Platform Engineering organization at a global scale.
• Experience replacing repetitive data-cleansing tasks with AI-assisted workflows.
