Flow Engineer

TL;DR

Flow Engineer (Lean/Agile): Optimizing speed, efficiency, and quality of product development across Value Stream squads with an accent on Lean, XP, and Agile principles, flow metrics, and waste reduction in delivery pipelines. Focus on value stream mapping, blocker resolution, squad coaching, and driving continuous improvement through data-driven insights.

What you will do

• Map value streams, identify bottlenecks, and optimize flow metrics like Cycle Time, Lead Time, Throughput, WIP, and Work Item Flow Efficiency.
• Coach squads on Lean/Agile practices, define workflows, SLEs, and DoD, and promote modern engineering practices including CI/CD and test automation.
• Resolve blockers, reduce dependencies, and ensure frequent delivery of working software.
• Support Product Owners with backlog prioritization, roadmap feasibility, and stakeholder communication using flow and health data.
• Facilitate events, improve team culture, psychological safety, and squad health through metrics and surveys.
• Contribute to Flow Engineering chapter and align delivery with business objectives.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid in Lisbon
• 3+ years in dedicated delivery role (e.g., Product Owner, Flow Enablement Lead, Scrum Master).
• Detailed knowledge of Agile frameworks (Kanban, XP, Lean, Scrum) and flow metrics.
• Experience with technical practices: SDLC, CI/CD, test automation, architecture.
• Proficiency in delivery tools (JIRA, Miro, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
• Experience in incident/problem management, project/portfolio delivery.
