Sales Manager (Autonomous Vehicle Tech Expo): Manage day-to-day sales performance for the Autonomous Vehicle Tech Expo event, delivering personal sales targets across new and existing business with an accent on stand sales, sponsorship, and rebooking. Focus on executing sales strategies, driving exhibitor growth, managing floor plans, and producing revenue forecasts to exceed event targets.

Location: Hybrid in Dorking, UK. Spend at least one day every fortnight in the market. We do not offer sponsorship for this role.

What you will do

  • Manage day-to-day sales performance and deliver personal sales targets for new and existing business
  • Execute sales strategy with Event Director and Show Manager to grow exhibitors, stand sales, sponsorship, and revenue
  • Drive campaign strategy, meet activity targets like outbound calls and face-to-face meetings
  • Run rebook process, manage prospect database and CRM, maintain high communication standards
  • Handle event floor plan, exhibitor marketing, competitor monitoring, and revenue reporting
  • Collaborate with operations, marketing, and show teams for smooth event delivery

Requirements

  • Proven experience in exhibition or event sales
  • Strong track record of hitting and exceeding personal sales targets
  • Solid understanding of stand sales, sponsorship, and rebooking
  • Confident managing own pipeline, activity levels, CRM systems
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Financially comfortable with budgets, forecasts, and sales reporting

Nice to have

  • Experience managing event floor plans
  • Knowledge of events industry and competitor landscape
  • Experience with exhibitor marketing campaigns
  • Comfortable attending competitor and industry events
