What you will do

• Create 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings for switchgear panels, enclosures, and busbar supports using SolidWorks.
• Ensure designs meet IEC 61439 requirements regarding structural integrity, IP ratings, and clearance distances.
• Design ventilation systems and perform heat dissipation calculations for internal components.
• Prepare detailed mechanical Bills of Materials (BOM) for structural and sheet metal parts.
• Provide technical troubleshooting and support to the shop floor for assembly and sheet metal operations.
• Assist in Type Testing (short-circuit, temperature rise) and Routine Testing.

Requirements

• Third level qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks) and AutoCAD.
• Basic understanding of LV electrical components such as breakers and contactors.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role (placement year accepted).
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with engineers, clients, and production teams.
