What you will do

• Collaborate cross-functionally with program managers, manufacturing, and quality teams on product changes.
• Drive improvements in product performance, manufacturability, cost, quality, and supply continuity while maintaining design intent.
• Perform hands-on root cause analysis on manufacturing floor and design studies to resolve technical issues.
• Lead verification, validation, and testing activities to ensure products meet user needs.
• Investigate existing technologies and guide new methodologies for product manufacturing.
• Mentor junior and senior engineers, coordinate with suppliers, and document results in reports and presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (L8) with 7+ years, Master's with 5+ years, or PhD with 3+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in design, development, analysis, troubleshooting, and technical support for products.
• Proficiency in risk-based decision-making and DRM methodologies.
• Ability to perform statistical analysis, design experiments, and deliver within timelines.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Work in R&D labs and manufacturing facilities; travel to suppliers and sites as required.

Nice to have

• Medical device industry and high-volume manufacturing experience.
• Complex mechanical system design, product risk management, issue investigation, and CAPAs.
• 3D modeling, finite element analysis, statistical design analysis.
• Process and test method development/validation; DRM Greenbelt or above.
• Team-oriented with hands-on mentality.
