What you will do

• Perform maintenance and repair on fire vehicles and all maintenance plant and equipment.
• Execute preventative maintenance on the airport fleet and associated mechanical elements.
• Carry out auto electrical repairs and maintain conveyor systems.
• Manage the maintenance of firefighting pumps and plant machinery within Terminal and Airport buildings.

Requirements

• Pursuing an academic qualification in heavy-duty diesel engine maintenance, electronics, autoelectrics, hydraulics, pneumatics, or plant maintenance.
• Knowledge of repair and overhaul of diesel and petrol engines.
• Working knowledge of plant and equipment.
• Strong independent work initiative and ability to collaborate within a team.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite at Cork Airport, Ireland.

Nice to have

• Clean HGV driving licence.
