TL;DR

HR Lead Specialist (HRBP): Delivering high-quality HR advisory services across the EMEA region with an accent on employee relations, employment legislation, and manager capability. Focus on managing complex ER cases, partnering with Strategic HRBPs, and improving the overall colleague experience.

Location: Hybrid in Edinburgh, UK (minimum 2 days per week in office)

What you will do

  • Serve as a trusted advisor for end-to-end employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence management.
  • Coach managers on people leadership, team effectiveness, and the practical application of HR policies.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to support the delivery of people plans and organizational priorities.
  • Interpret and ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies across the EMEA region.
  • Analyze HR data and employee relations activity to identify risks and recommend process improvements.
  • Collaborate with Talent and L&D teams to identify capability gaps and facilitate succession planning.

Requirements

  • Strong experience delivering HR advisory support in a complex, multi-country environment.
  • Proven capability in managing employee relations cases independently.
  • Solid understanding of employment legislation and risk management.
  • Experience working with HR systems, specifically Workday.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills for effective stakeholder partnership.
  • Must be based in or able to work from Edinburgh, UK to meet hybrid office requirements.
