What you will do

• Design and develop RF-transparent structures, including radomes and windows for high-speed flight vehicles.
• Lead the architecture and detailed design of RF subsystem packaging, ensuring precise mounting and environmental protection.
• Perform complex structural and thermal analyses to ensure reliability under extreme aerothermal and dynamic pressure.
• Collaborate with RF, avionics, and materials teams to optimize transmission, reflection, and boresight error.
• Develop interfaces between radomes, Thermal Protection Systems (TPS), and primary structures.
• Define and execute environmental qualification and test plans involving thermal, vibration, and RF testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for aerospace or high-performance systems.
• Proven experience designing radomes or RF-transparent structures.
• Proficiency in CAD tools such as NX or SolidWorks, and analysis tools like ANSYS.
• U.S. citizenship is required for eligibility for government security clearances.
• Familiarity with high-temperature materials, including ceramics and low-loss dielectrics.
