What you will do

• Develop detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using SolidWorks and/or NX.
• Design castings, tooling, fixtures, molds, and manufacturing aids for aerospace applications.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation, including bills of material and revision-controlled design packages.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and process engineering teams to optimize designs for production.
• Translate customer requirements and specifications into manufacturable solutions for prototypes and production launch.
• Partner with simulation, metrology, and quality teams to incorporate inspection and validation requirements.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Design, Drafting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of CAD design experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks and/or NX.
• Experience creating detailed manufacturing drawings in accordance with GD&T standards and ASME Y14.5.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and design fundamentals.
• Must be based in or able to work at the Loveland, Ohio facility.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, defense, additive manufacturing, or investment casting environments.
• Familiarity with nTopology, Rhino, Fusion 360, or Magics.
• Knowledge of scan-to-CAD workflows and PLM/PDM systems.
• Experience with finite element analysis or casting simulation software.
