TL;DR

(Senior) Manager, Business Development (eCommerce & Apps): Drive business growth for eCommerce brands and non-gaming apps in APAC by managing full sales cycles, expanding key accounts, and executing localized strategies with an accent on performance marketing and user acquisition. Focus on building strategic partnerships, optimizing campaigns via Axon platform, and capturing market opportunities in cross-border eCommerce.

Onsite presence required at Shanghai office. Must be based in Shanghai.

What you will do

  • Prospect, onboard, and expand high-value enterprise clients in APAC e-commerce and non-gaming app verticals, managing full sales cycles.
  • Develop and execute localized sales strategies, analyzing market trends and competitor dynamics for revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key clients through regular reviews and customized growth solutions.
  • Collaborate with product, operations, technical, and customer success teams for seamless client onboarding and campaign optimization.
  • Track industry trends, produce market analysis reports, and participate in events to enhance brand influence.
  • Maintain sales pipelines and submit data-driven reports to adjust strategies.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin for business communication.
  • 5+ years in sales/business development in mobile ad tech, digital marketing, e-commerce, or non-gaming apps, with APAC experience.
  • Proven track record in large client development, negotiation, and account expansion.
  • Deep understanding of APAC e-commerce, non-gaming apps, user acquisition, and monetization.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and cross-team skills; goal-oriented with market insight.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, International Trade, or related.

Nice to have

  • Experience in e-commerce and brand operations.
  • Mature client resources in APAC e-commerce or non-gaming apps.
  • Prior work in international ad tech, internet, or cross-border e-commerce.
  • Familiarity with hirify.global or other UA platforms.
