What you will do

• Lead and mentor managers across mechanical, thermal, and propulsion teams to ensure high productivity.
• Scale the engineering organization by recruiting and developing top-tier multidisciplinary talent.
• Develop and execute a long-term technical roadmap to maintain market leadership.
• Navigate complex technical trades and direct the development of innovative product offerings.
• Oversee program execution, managing costs, risks, and schedules for multiple projects.
• Represent company programs to external stakeholders, including customers, regulators, and investors.

Requirements

• 10+ years of technical experience with 5+ years in management.
• 3+ years of experience managing other managers.
• Experience working on at least one integrated vehicle (e.g., spacecraft, aircraft, or car).
• Proven track record of driving fast-moving, delivery-focused new product development.
• B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent technical degree.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen, Lawful Permanent Resident, or Refugee/Asylee Status to comply with export regulations.

• Active or former security clearance.
• Experience working on U.S. Government programs.
