Salary: $140,000 - $175,000 + equity

What you will do

• Design and deliver solar array electrical and mechanical subsystems and contribute to system architecture.
• Develop electrical performance degradation models considering radiation, thermal cycling, and UV exposure.
• Define and execute assembly-level acceptance and qualification test procedures.
• Collaborate with avionics, structures, and software teams on system requirements and on-orbit data review.
• Drive in-house manufacturing processes, including equipment evaluation, work instructions, and factory layouts for high-rate production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in physics, materials science, mechanical, aerospace, or electrical engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in the design, manufacture, and test of solar arrays for space applications.
• Must be a "U.S. Person" (U.S. citizen, Green Card holder, etc.) per ITAR regulations.
• Experience with high-power, long-life solar array architectures.
• Familiarity with AIAA S111/S112, SMC-S-016, NASA-STD-5017, and NASA-STD-4005 standards.
