What you will do

• Design upgrades, maintenance, and restoration solutions for existing structures and support new construction projects.
• Investigate and repair failed building envelope systems; perform condition assessments and failure investigations.
• Conduct constructability reviews and third-party peer reviews of plans and specifications.
• Manage multiple projects, ensuring quality control, budgets, scopes, and deadlines.
• Prepare technical reports, repair designs, bid documents, addenda, and construction documentation.
• Research building histories and applicable codes; build long-term client relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in building envelope design, investigation, construction documentation, and/or project management.
• Strong knowledge of commercial and residential building envelope systems and material selection.
• Experience designing glazing, cladding, insulation, air barriers, roofing, and waterproofing systems.
• Ability to develop construction details and specifications using building codes and ADA requirements.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit; excellent written communication skills.
• Registered Architect (RA) or Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
