What you will do

• Scope and spearhead AI augmentation projects, including precise content generation, reference-based search, and multimodal LLM-powered bots.
• Develop novel algorithms for NLP, agentic reasoning, and few-shot learning to solve core research problems.
• Establish rigorous experimentation and evaluation protocols to ensure accuracy, consistency, and real-world impact.
• Automate complex, branching workflows for insurance coverage and affordability programs using AI/ML and RPA approaches.
• Build robust ML pipelines capable of handling inconsistent clinical documentation across various drug classes and provider markets.
• Collaborate with the CEO and biopharma partners to translate heterogeneous data into reliable insights for drug development and access.

Requirements

• Must be based in New York (all roles are in person).
• Strong research background in ML/NLP, demonstrated by publications in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP) or significant open-source contributions.
• Deep understanding of transformer architectures, attention mechanisms, reinforcement learning, and multimodal models.
• Proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• Experience deploying complex ML solutions, such as reasoning agents or multi-step workflows, in production environments.
• Strong programming skills and a solid foundation in Computer Science.
