TL;DR
Senior Manager, Billing Operations (SaaS): Own the full quote-to-cash lifecycle for subscription revenue streams with an accent on invoice generation, collections strategy, and month-end handoff to Accounting. Focus on optimizing billing platforms, building processes from scratch, managing Deal Desk, and developing KPI dashboards in a high-growth environment.
Location: United States, hybrid and remote work models based on proximity to office hubs. Travel expected for team and company offsites several times a year.

What You’ll Do
- Own the order-to-cash lifecycle from invoice generation through cash collection and GL handoff.
- Administer and optimize billing platform, including configurations, integrations, and product catalog.
- Manage collections, dunning, AR aging, and involuntary churn reduction.
- Handle Deal Desk for non-standard billing, maintain Billing Playbook, and train Sales.
- Build and own KPI dashboards for invoicing accuracy, DSO, collection rates, and disputes.
- Lead billing system migrations, build the team, and partner cross-functionally with Sales, CS, Accounting, and Engineering.
Requirements
- Progressive experience in billing/order-to-cash/revenue operations with at least 3 years in management/leadership.
- Hands-on with SaaS subscription billing: cycles, proration, mid-term changes, renewals.
- Experience managing billing platforms like Chargebee or Stripe Billing and ERP integrations.
- Understanding of ASC 606 for billing and revenue recognition.
- Ability to build processes, playbooks, and reporting in high-growth settings.
- Strong cross-functional communication with GTM, CS, FP&A, and Accounting.

- Familiarity with embedded payments or payment processing.
- Venture/PE-backed company experience.
- CPA or accounting background.
- SMB-focused SaaS experience.
