What you will do

  • Review customer contracts and order forms to determine appropriate revenue recognition under ASC 606.
  • Drive monthly and quarterly revenue closes, including journal entries, deferrals, and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with Finance Operations and Billing teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Oversee commission calculations and related financial reporting.
  • Support external financial audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
  • Lead process improvements and system enhancements to scale revenue accounting operations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Revenue Accounting at a high-growth technology company.
  • Strong technical knowledge of ASC 606 for software and SaaS.
  • Proficiency with revenue accounting systems such as Workday Financials, NetSuite ARM, or Zuora Revenue.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience leading revenue system implementations or major enhancements.
  • Background partnering with Billing, Deal Desk, or Finance Operations teams.
  • Experience in a public company or SOX-compliant environment.
